What to expect

We will be hosting Dr. Fred Bisci for a weeklong journey into Health, with Jesus at the center of our Journey. Dr. Bisci will spend Sunday September 1st  in a Q and A time with Pastor John Hammer on God’s design for the body to heal.

Wednesday September 4th, will be a time for you to bring your questions to Dr. Bisci. He will outline his plan and then we will open up the rest of the night for you to get your questions answered. Submit your questions here:

Tuesday and Thursday September 3rd and 5th Dr. Bisci will be meet privately with people who book appointments. The appointments will be here at Sonrise. Appointments will last 1 hour. During your coaching, you will be informed and trained about how to structure an individual lifestyle program. It doesn’t matter where you are in Your Healthy Journey as Fred meets you where you are at in that process. It is advised, but not mandatory, to take the Nutritional Healthy Lifestyle Assessment prior to the coaching.  A two day meal journal is requested in the survey, that includes what you eat and drink for breakfast, lunch and dinner and any food or snacks in between.

During a personalized health coaching, the following information will be discussed:

  • Family health history to uncover how genes may play a role in your current health situation
  • Any current health concerns or chronic conditions
  • Physical history including any lab work-ups that are available
  • Diet/eating/drinking/lifestyle habits, emotional/physical/exercise strength, endurance, stamina, stresses and patterns

The Cost for the appointments are regularly $375. For this event each appointment will be $275, we do not want anyone to miss out so if you cannot afford the reduced cost please contact us and we will make arrangements based on what you can afford.

Fred Bisci’s clinical experience and knowledge has repeatedly demonstrated that making a commitment to lifestyle changes is the key to optimal health. He has also found that there is a correlation between the long-term effects of processed foods, overeating and the acceleration of the aging process. His approach involves freshly prepared plant-based foods and food combinations of fresh vegetables and fruits, along with cooked portions to meals. It is based on the principle that the body is self-healing. When we leave out toxic, processed foods from our lifestyle and put in Real, Fresh, Plant Foods, we release our body’s God-given ability to always seek health.

Fred Bisci’s history includes hosting his own television show “Eat Your Way to Health,” which had the largest viewing audience in New York City and won the famed Nova Award for best health series. He is author of the book, “Your Healthy Journey (Discovering Your Body’s Full Potential)” and has been interviewed and quoted in numerous books and health periodicals. Fred has also appeared on radio and TV shows focusing on health, longevity, exercise and quality of life. Throughout the world, he has conducted seminars and spoken, at universities, professional organizations, and business groups on how to lead a long, healthy life.

Fred, Director of the Spartan Nutritional/Lifestyle Athletic Council, (SNAC) has successfully worked with the Founder/CEO, Joe De Sena of Spartan Race Group as well as amateur, elite, professional and extreme/elite athletes: weight lifters, UFC/MMA fighters and boxers, basketball, baseball and football players, endurance and obstacle athletes, marathon runners, tri-athletes, wrestlers and actors. Fred himself has been a tenacious athlete completing eighteen marathons, two ultra-marathons. He also has a history as a Navy boxing champ, has successfully competed in Olympic-style weight lifting, and still leads an athletic life. Fred has always been dedicated to his family and is happily married since 1975, has two daughters, three grandchildren and a constant friend of all types of animals.

Fred’s overall mission is to educate people overall on the failings of modern-day diets and how the science of epigenetics shows us how our lifestyle influences how every genetic expression. What Fred offers is a natural, simple, commonsense approach to health, nutrition and longevity. Fred is a firm believer in this approach and has achieved clinical results by showing people a well-grounded experience to the healing power, peak athletic performance and remedial capabilities of the human body.

Why are we not hearing this from mainstream?

It is my belief that the health of the United States is just as big a problem, or more so, then the economy which effects this planet globally. In the last ten years we have dropped from 15th to 41st place (2010 - Fact) in worldwide health. We have come to an impasse and must change direction with our lifestyle in order to improve our health dramatically. To some, this change in lifestyle may seem complicated but actually it is quite simple. It takes motivation and effort on our part but it is well worth the effort. The change in our lifestyle direction can dramatically change the quality of life and slow the aging process.

There are those who stand to gain financially from our society not changing. The food giants that make our processed food, and the pharmaceutical companies, are making billions of dollars from this poor situation. Much of the funding for the research is coming from these food giants and pharmaceutical companies and they are not going to encourage us to change.

We must take responsibility for our own well-being by changing our lifestyle. Now is the time we can stop the damage and problems we are causing ourselves. All the information that we need is available. I am not talking about weight loss diets because they do not work long term. I am talking about lifestyle changes that have a dramatic, beneficial impact on our quality of life, longevity, performance and well-being.

There are many books available regarding different approaches that are causing much confusion. Misleading and one-sided information has directed the consumer to become obsessed with eating protein in exaggerated amounts. But there is one common denominator in all the approaches that are successful by bringing about beneficial changes: “WHAT YOU LEAVE OUT.”

The lifestyle program that I am recommending in my book “Your Healthy Journey” will enable your body to begin a profound detoxification as this program is a cleansing lifestyle. I will be encouraging you to omit those things that interfere with a healthy physiology. When we leave out the cause of many of our problems, our body’s physiology and chemistry know what they have to do and how to open up the healing pathways for optimal, efficient performance.

Lifestyle changes also include addressing the stresses in our life. We will change the quality of our lives dramatically, physically and psychologically, by omitting the processed food and consuming plant-based foods in its purest biological form. We will also be omitting the many chemicals and added hormones that are detrimental to human health.
